Ehrwald is located on the foot of the Zugspitze and is the largest town of the Tyrolean Zugspitze Arena.
In winter Ehrwald scores with three ski resorts: the Ehrwalder Alm, the ski Wettersteinbahnen / Sonnenhang lifts and the Zugspitze with the Zugspitzplatt.
